Customer Case Study: Rennie Grove Peace – Power BI Training – April 2024

Claire Caple – Microsoft 365 Adoption & Change Manager – Rennie Grove Peace

Claire Caple from Rennie Grove Hospital

“Alpesh was very knowledgeable, and I was confident in his training from the start.

He was enthusiastic and excited to help us get to know the software.

Alpesh gave us useful tips, everyone was comfortable and asked questions throughout.

We all took away ideas and felt able to start using Power BI immediately.”

The Client:

Rennie Grove Peace Hospice (Rennie Grove Peace) is a palliative care and bereavement support charity working in Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.

It was formed from the merger of Rennie Grove Hospice Care and Peace Hospice Care in 2022 and employs approximately 300 people across a range of functions spanning from fundraising and training to palliative care.

The Problem:

Rennie Grove Peace wanted to upgrade its business analytics capability and make better use of their data across the organisation.

Having decided that Power BI would be the best solution, team members from their fundraising, marketing, clinical reporting and IT teams wanted to learn how to use Power BI to analyse and present their data.

The Solution:

Rennie Grove Peace ultimately decided that a private Power BI course at their offices would meet their needs best.

Doing this was more cost-effective than attending public courses, saved on staff travel time and allowed the training to be focused on their exact requirements.

The Outcome:

A private one-day introduction to Power BI course was run at Rennie Grove Peace’s offices.

Everyone left having learned a huge amount about Power BI and ready to start putting it into practice.

After the course, each attendee was tasked with sharing what they learned with their department to broaden the organisation’s understanding of Power BI.
