Introduction

This InDesign course will build on typography skills to ensure that your documents have maximum impact.

Our friendly, certified Adobe trainers will quickly get you producing and using different types of type and show you how to use it to transform your documents.

This is a hands-on course. It includes lots of time to practice and try things out for yourself.

By the time you finish, you’ll be comfortable using a wide range of InDesign’s features.

The Trainer

Our usual trainer for this course is Paul. He has been training people to use layout and graphic design packages for over 30 years.

He started his career working as a graphic designer. Then in 1989 he was asked to help train people use Aldus Pagemaker and CorelDraw and the rest is history. These days he is focused on training Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom and Illustrator.

 

What Will I Learn?

This course will make you a master of using InDesign to control your typography.

You’ll learn:

  • How to use type, colour and contrast for maximum effect.
  • How to ensure that your type is easily read.

Am I Ready For This Course?

This intermediate InDesign course is designed for delegates who have attended our Introduction to Adobe InDesign training course, or who have equivalent working knowledge of InDesign from their day-to-day work.

Your Training Day

Our courses run from 9.30 am to roughly 4.30 pm with refreshments throughout the day and a break for a tasty, freshly prepared lunch.
