What Will I Learn?

This course will teach you the basics of mechanical 3D computer-aided design using Inventor.

Its primary focus is to teach you the skills to create part and assembly models of moderate complexity and to document these designs with drawing views.

After this course you will be able to:

  • Use basic part and assembly modelling techniques
  • Be familiar with documenting models using drawings and annotations
  • Navigate Inventor’s gesture-based user interface.

Am I Ready For This Course?

To take this course you don’t need any experience or prior knowledge of Autodesk Inventor.

It is important however to have a basic design and/or engineering knowledge and it is recommended that you have experience of working in and navigating Microsoft Windows.

Our courses run from 9.30am to roughly 4.15pm with refreshments throughout the day and a break for a tasty, freshly prepared lunch.
